MENTAL
VISION
INTRODUCTORY
NOTES
By
aiming at offering help in one’s further development, and in particular
to those who are involved in facilitating some form of healing,
we thought it interesting to present our approach to activating
and developing of the mental vision, as one of the special meditation
techniques arisen from our research, as well as from experience
of passing on the Knowledge to others.
1.
THE CONCEPT OF MENTAL VISION
By
the term “mental vision” we mean the “seeing”, with the aid of
an individual Consciousness and its manifestation - the mind,
of: the matter and its movements, the Energies, energetic processes,
i.e. Vibrations, that is, of all that can be explained, formulated,
drawn..., in other words - presented in a way that is clear. Even though the mental vision is applicable
universally, for the purposes of this text we shall talk about
its uses within the margins of seeing various human organs and
systems, as well as of seeing the appropriate vibrational-energetic
processes.
Seeing
the organs or systems, i.e. the appropriate vibrational-energetic
processes, assumes that an individual Consciousness through the
help of which such Knowledge is acquired, for example the Knowledge
about an ailed organ, “records” the situations that are desired
to be seen, activates the centre for vision in the brain (but
not the eyes themselves) and so it transforms the information
directly into a drawing or a picture, i.e. “an awakened image”.
The
brain is here only a centre in which all the data is being summarised
and translated into Vibrations, that end up being recognisable
as a factual seeing, or better still Knowledge. The mental vision
particularity is in the simultaneous emission and reception of
Vibrations that are being translated into an image. Thanks to
the omni-presences of Infinite Consciousness, an individual Consciousness
with the mind activates the process of “entering an organ” at
the same time creating a picture, or rather Knowledge about the
health of that organ. Therefore there is no emission of waves,
followed by their reflection and completed by the reception of
Vibrations. Essentially, seeing of organs and energetic processes
is in fact the Knowledge about their sighting.
Mental
sighting of organs can be largely verified through a factual and
medical findings obtained through the ultra-sound, electro-magnetic
resonance, etc., while with seeing the energies and energetic
processes this sort of verification is not so readily possible.
The quality of mental vision, that is of seeing the organs and
the systems of the physical body as well as the energetic processes,
depends on:
-
the development, or rather maturity of Consciousness as a general
factor and
-
the level of practise of a deliberate, by the means of the mind,
switching off of the eyes and of lowering the function of an optic
nerve, while maximally activating the centre for vision in the
brain.
2.
THE VIBRATIONAL-ENERGETIC ELEMENTS
Important
vibrational-energetic elements are the following three:
- the mind
- the third eye
- the channel of the third eye.
2.1. The mind
A) Maturity of the mind
We
have spoken in detail in our book “Mature Consciousness”, so here we shall mention only some points:
-
The mind is a manifestation of the process of individualisation
of Consciousness, formed as a result of an imminent process of
self-recognition of Infinite Consciousness through the process
of individualisation of Consciousness.
-
It formed as a reaction of Consciousness on the Vibrations received
via the senses, it is a sum of those reactions, while itself it
manifests as a Vibration, or rather a condensed Vibration-Energy,
thus presenting one’s relationship with oneself, others, environment,
etc.
-
The mind is a basic instrument by the aid of which the process
of individualisation of Consciousness is being realised and it
presents the link between Consciousness and matter; the meaning
behind its very existence lies in its reverse effect on maturing
of Consciousness.
-
The structure of the mind can be defined as a sum total of emotions
and thoughts.
-
The relationship Consciousness - mind represents a level of awakening
of emotions and thoughts, or rather a degree of harmonisation
of their Vibrations with Genetic code.
-
An average relationship Consciousness - mind varies during a day,
a week, a month and a year. This is why it is advisable to view
it at its average level over a longer period, at least a month.
-
On the level of humanity, an average for the relationship Consciousness
- mind is around 1%. That shows that a vast majority of people
are almost entirely “under a rule” of their own mind, thus experiencing
the world of appearances, itself an illusion, as a reality.
-
An average relationship of at least 75% over a longer period (at
least a year) indicates that sound results have been reached in
one’s meditation, whose effects on one’s energetic and spiritual
development are obvious. An average time in which meditators generally
reach such a result is 1-2 years.
In
order to have a precise mental vision it is necessary to reach
a high degree of awakeness (maturity) of the mind, or rather that
the relationship Consciousness - mind is at least 75%
over a longer period (at least a year).
B) Conscious and sub-conscious
mind
The
classification such as “the conscious” and “the sub-conscious”
mind is quite conditional. In both of those it is the case of
the mind, or rather of emotions and thoughts.
Conscious mind
are those emotions and thoughts, which we can relatively easily
describe - the ones we have “knowledge” about.
Sub-conscious
mind are those emotions and thoughts we are unable to describe
- the ones we have no “knowledge” of, except for those that are
currently in the process of transformation into the contents of
the conscious mind.
Due
to an interactive nature of the relationship of the two, “the
border” dividing conscious and sub-conscious mind moves, so that
the ratio between them is not a constant. In most people the sub-conscious
mind is of a considerably broader scope than that of the conscious
one. An average ratio between the conscious and the sub-conscious
mind in most cases is 8:92, and it depends on:
-
level of harmony between Vibrations of Consciousness and Genetic
code,
-
relationship Consciousness - mind,
-
relationship Consciousness - Soul,
-
the number of activated intelligence petals as well as how synchronised they are,
-
the level of functioning of the brain as an organ of the sense
of the mind, etc.
Uncontrolled
inflow of the contents of the sub-conscious can disrupt the conscious
mind, or the functioning of the conscious mind. Through maturing
of Consciousness the contents of the sub-conscious mind are transformed
(by changing frequencies) through the intelligence petals into
the conscious mind, which means there is no part of the mind that
can not be awakened.
The
high degree of transformation of the sub-conscious into the conscious
mind, around 75% over a longer period (at least a year), presents
one of the conditions that allow for an accurate mental vision.
C) The thinking and the
working mind
Thinking mind
arises from the “false self”, which can be defined as identifying
oneself with the mind (emotions and thoughts), Light body, Soul,
the aura and the physical body, and in a broader context as ignorance
the Truth about the essence of man - that our true Being is of
the Divine nature, or rather that God is in ourselves. The thinking
mind functions on the principle of duality (hot-cold, good-bad,
desireable-undesireable...) and the behaviour that arises from
this principle. So it is it
- that, which creates concepts, classifies, compares, doubts,
questions, imagines, judges or on the other hand gets angry, sad,
suffers, hates, gets enraged, worried, curious, jealous, often
bored and so on.
Working mind
is the one, which through using the thinking mind enables an entry
into a so called state of flow - a state of giving oneself to
and identifying oneself with what is being done. For example,
in the case of a painter, the thinking mind will select and place
the canvas onto a canvas stand, will then choose the subject and
begin to paint, and after some time will enter the state of flow
where his or her hand will be “guided”. Artists often say that
they don’t know why and how they have painted a picture, explaining
that something was guiding them, it just came to them or it just
happened..., but essentially it is the case of the processes of
self-awakening whose instruments are the thinking and the working
mind, which enable the realisation of the painting.
One’s
ability to harmonise the two aspects of manifestation of the mind
(the thinking and the working) of above 75%, contributes towards
an accurate mental vision, and in such a way where the working
mind receives the Vibrations, and the thinking mind registers,
recognises and passes on as information.
2.2. The third eye
The
third eye is a term that’s often used in yogic literature as well
as literature that deals with various meditation techniques. It
is situated slightly above the eyebrow line, in the funnel of
the sixth chakra, however third eye and sixth chakra are not
the same. In the case of unsynchronised sixth chakra its colour
varies from red, then blue and finally grey colour of Energy,
which like rings surround the third eye’s white centre.

b) third eye (profile)

Third
eye is a milky white radiant ellipsoid structure, positioned within
a funnel like structure of the sixth chakra. Viewed from the side,
one half of this ellipsoid is on the inside of the forehead while
the other half is protruding on the outer side.
Third
eye is an energetic structure which, with the help of the brain
as a sense of the mind, is created by Consciousness. It is not
constantly active, but rather it exists as a potential and as
such it is activated on one’s conscious, although more often on
an unconscious plea. Many describe the third eye as a brain tissue.
However, it is not situated in the brain itself, and so it can
not be that, but it is formed partly through the help of brain.
Meditating
with the prayer for maturing the third eye, the brain wave activity
is mildly lowered and evened out compared to a usual level, which
is directly in the function of an easier maturing of the mind.
Through maturing of the third eye the conscious and the sub-conscious
mind are also being harmonised, as well as the thinking and the
working ones, and thus it enables for the development of mental
vision.
2.3. The channel of the
third eye
The
channel of the third eye is an energetic structure, which constitutes
as an extension of the third eye, starting from the forehead and
ending in back of the head.

b)

Sketch no. 2
- The channel of the third eye
|
The
channel of the third eye is somewhat wider than the sixth chakra,
that is the sixth chakra is situated inside of it. It is activated
on one’s conscious, although more often on an unconscious plea;
it is mostly milky white or grey in colour, radiating in either
case. The channel is not one of the brain’s structures, but it
is formed through it.
When
meditating on the plea for maturing the channel of the third eye,
the brain wave activity lowers and harmonises slightly, compared
to its usual level. This eases the connection between the neocortex and the limbic part of the brain, which is also an important precondition for
an accurate mental vision.
3.
THE ORGANIC ELEMENTS
The
organs and systems in man that significantly influence mental
vision are:
-
nervous system,
-
cerebrum,
-
amygdalas and
-
pineal gland.
3.1. The nervous system
Through
the help of mind, and via the nervous system, Consciousness acts
on the body, or rather on the psycho-physical state and vice versa,
the nervous system acts on the possibility of development of the
mind and Consciousness. nervous system can not be brought down
to the central and peripheral only, or even the sympathetic and
parasympathetic. It is much more than this. That this is so shows
the Function of the nervous system, seen in what we call - for
want of a better term - an energetic view, and which represents
a synthetic overview of one’s psycho-physical health. There are
no medical parameters as yet today, which show the function of
the nervous system, and therefore neither do the analysis related
to each group of diseases in relation to the function of the nervous
system. This problem complicates further, since there are continual
oscillations of the function of nervous system on a daily basis,
and so it would be necessary to measure the momentary as well
as daily, weekly, monthly, etc. The results thus obtained would
indicate at one’s immediate state of health as well as that over
a certain period, but also a possibility for developing an accurate
mental vision in a given moment, or even over a longer period.
In fact, the function of the nervous system that remains above
98,8% enables a directed and accurate mental vision which will
accordingly last as long as such a high function of the nervous
system, so for a shorter or a longer period.
Measuring
the function of the nervous system (as well as other parameters)
is not a simple matter, and until it is mastered it is advisable
to leave it to someone who is more proficient in the technique.
If this is not possible, one just need to follow the system of
practise and the results will surely follow. In a mean time it
is possible to verify our results and findings through a medical
check up of certain organs and systems, as well as the functioning
of the physical body as a whole, which will largely reflect a
true state of parameters that are being observed.
3.2. The cerebrum
The
cerebrum is shaped like a semi-ovoid that is split with the central
gap (longitudinal fissure) into two symmetrical sections (the
left and right hemispheres). These are connected with tracts (commissures),
which are rich in the nerve fibres and are split into three groups:
- corpus callosum,
which is positioned at the base of the longitudinal fissure,
- anterior
commissure, which connect the centres of the left and right
hemispheres and
- lateral
ventricle, which are placed between the corpus
callosum and the top part of the 3rd ventricle, forming a
shape of a letter X.
In
vibrational-energetic terms, the hemispheres are connected with
an energetic field, which is placed in the region of cerebrum,
whose unhomogenous and weak radiance in majority of people does
not exceed the limits of the skull. In science it is a well known
fact that in those persons, whom we call “geniuses” (regardless
of it being the case of an artist, scientist...), the hemispheres
are significantly more connected than in other people, but it
is a less known fact that their energetic field is also significantly
bigger, more homogenous and its radiance is stronger.
With
people who, for a moment or over
a longer period, manage to see mentally, the following processes
take place:
-
an energetic field gets constituted
around the head in the shape of a semi-sphere, from the back of
the head to the level of the eyebrows, which is homogenous, radiates
with a shining greyish-white or white colour,

Sketch no. 3
- A representation of an energetic field during the process
of mental vision
|
-
the brain waves are mildly lowered and more synchronised in relation
to their usual level,
-
the forehead is cooler, and particularly cool is the region of
the third eye.
3.3. The amygdalas
Amygdalas are the two interliked glands that in shape
and size resemble an almond nut. They are placed on either side
of the brain, leaning on it at the base, roughly in the middle
of the temples.
.jpg)
Sketch no. 4
- Amygdalas
|
Amygdalas
are neurologically connected to many of the brain centres, primarily
the neocortex, the visual cortex and thalamus. Both glands contain
numerous receptors and take part in creating of the neurotransmitters
such as dopamine, seratonin, norepinephrine, epinephrine, etc.
The science has proven to a certain degree the link between the
amygdalas and emotions, in as much as they produce an emotional
response before the cortic (thinking) centres fully register a
given event.
From
an energetic aspect amygdalas are the sensors for the Vibrations
received through the senses (primarily the eyes), which are then
being sent for “decoding” with the help of intelligence petals.
It is for this reason that it is important to disconnect the link
between the senses and the amygdalas in order to develop the mental
vision, and so for Vibrations to be received directly via amygdalas
and then through intelligence petals to be forwarded onto a centre
for vision, which will form a “recognisable” image.
Mutual
connecting and awakening of the functioning of amygdalas synchronises
their vibrating with Consciousness, which aids in awakening of
the mind and enables the mental vision.
3.4. The pineal gland (epithalamus)
Pineal
gland is situated in the region of the midbrain, it resembles
a pine cone, it is pink in colour and about 10 mm long and 6 mm
wide. It is connected with a hypothalamus, amygdalas and other
parts of the brain, of which primarily the limbic system of which
it is actually the part of.
.jpg)
Sketch no. 5
- Representation of the pineal gland
|
It
is in this gland that is responsible for a hormonal transformation
of the numerous neurological and sensory impulses received via
the senses. The most important hormone secreted by the pineal
gland is melatonine whose role is to, through hypothalamus, influence
the frontal section of hypophysis. Science does not have a complete
understanding of the function of the pineal gland. From an energetic
point of view, the pineal gland is one of the receptors that receives
Vibrations picked up by the senses and amygdalas, and which are
then via the intelligence petals turned into information that
we are able to perceive with the mind.
This
gland’s activity increases during sleep, but experiments have
shown that it is possible to increase its activity even in a waking
state relatively easily through the practise of meditation.
4.
TAN T’IEN
We
have learned from several Chinese teachers of tai chi and chi gung of
various ways of pronouncing a
term tan t’ien, which is in English language
most often spelt as above (Tan T’ien), and of even more ways of
interpreting them, such as: the crimson centre, energetic centre,
the centre for constitution of energy, the centre for accumulation
and radiation of energy, the cotton field, the healing field,
etc. Equally imprecise are the accounts of the whereabouts of
the three main tan t’iens: the lower (a region of about 3-4 cm
below the navel...), the middle (the region of the chest bone,
thymus...) and the upper (the region between the eyebrows, middle
of the forehead...).
The
most important out of these for the development of mental vision
is the upper tan t’ien, which, according to our findings,
is positioned in the centre of hypothalamus in the same place
where the bindu centre constitutes.
.jpg)
Sketch no.6
a) the upper tan t’ien
b) a representation of an energetic structure while meditating
on the upper tan t’ien
|
During
the sending of prayers for maturing the upper tan t’ien, the following
processes take place:
-
an energetic field constitutes around the head in the shape of
a semi-sphere, at about 2-3 cm above the top vertebrae of the
neck at the back and at the lower edge of the eye sockets at the
front of the skull; it is homogenous, it radiates with a greyish-white
or just white colour,
-
the brain waves are mildly lowered and evened compared to their
usual level,
-
the whole forehead is cooler, and particularly so in the region
of the third eye.
By
stimulating the upper tan
t’ien through a variety of ways, primarily by practising tai chi and chi gung exercises,
but also through its maturing through prayers, one encourages
the harmonisation of the left and right hemispheres of the cerebrum,
as well as the amygdalas, the function of the pineal gland is
being optimised, which all together has a beneficial effect on
the maturing of the mind. Maturing of the upper tan
t’ien affects the development of mental vision in as much
as it minimalises the function of the senses (primarily the eyes),
and at the same time it increases the function of the intelligence
petals and the centres for vision. It is particularly significant
to be using the term tan
t’ien (even if it is not being pronounced accurately, or whether
it is done mentally or even if one is being as much as aware of
its existence) as it has an associative-intiatic role, since it
contains the type of information that mobilises the awakening
of Knowledge through the Collective Consciousness. This Knowledge
is the result of experiences of all those who had ever thought-meditated-prayed
on the subject, or they might have used the words tan t’ien while perhaps only just intuiting
their essential meaning. So, the meditations addressed to God,
and which contain the words tan
t’ien (or when only thinking about them), will have the greater
efficiency, which has been shown through practitioners’ experience.
5.
PRACTISE TECHNIQUE
The
practise technique consists of:
-
daily meditations and
-
an application of mental vision.
5.1. Daily meditations
Meditations
for development of mental vision will give results only if practised
together with all other meditations presented in our books.
A) General meditations
We
have selected only those meditations that are sufficient for individual’s
spiritual development and which create the conditions needed to,
by using the actual prayers, develop mental vision.
1. Prayer:
“I pray to God to reprogram my karma.”
Visualisation: not
necessary.
Time:
a) daily - once, 5-10 min non-stop
b) daily - several
times per day, 5-10 min non-stop
c) a meditation
of several hours practised over several days, and then its intensity gradually brought down.
Note:
Such a form of meditation (under c)
we do not advise to those practitioners who haven’t got at least
several years of experience behind them.
Reprogramming
of karma needs to be practised “as
much as it feels necessary” and for as long as it takes for
the process to become automatic, which can not be determined in
terms of duration as - “several months”,
“several years” or even “the whole life”. There are no
criteria for this, because spirituality has no way of being measured.
Through awakening (one’s own) existence, one transcends the influences
of numerous hindering factors of manifestation of karma and becomes
a mere observer of the process of individualisation of (one’s
own) Consciousness.
2. Prayer:
“I pray to God to reprogram the karmic causes for my attachment
to the false self.”
Visualisation:
not necessary.
Time:
several minutes.
B)

necessary.
Time:
2-3 min.
2. Prayer:

Visualisation:
brain.
Time: 2-3 min.
3. Prayer:

Visualisation:
cerebrum.
Time:
1-2 minutes.
5. Prayer:
“I pray to God to mature my amygdalas.”
Visualisation:
amygdalas.
Time: 1-2
minutes.
6. Prayer:
“I pray to God to optimise the function of my pineal gland.”
Visualisation:

minutes.
8. Prayer:
“I pray to God to mature my upper tan
t’ien.”
Visualisation:
brain.
Time:
2-3 minutes.
5.2. Application of the
mental vision
Before
attempting to see the organs and Energies, the reader should take
a note of the following:
-
mental vision is practised for about a year before the picture
becomes accurate;
-
activating, followed by developing of mental vision is a gradual
process, however the results need to be kept in check constantly
by comparison to medical data (as much as possible) as well as
through a continual co-operation and feedback with other practitioners;
-
an absence of desire to “see” is of extreme importance, because
in such a way the process of awakening of the mental vision is
freed from the clutches of the senses.
A) Mental seeing of one’s
own organs - the first method
-
assume a posture appropriate for meditation, close the eyes and
relax for a few seconds,
-
send a prayer: “I pray
to God to mature my mental vision.”
Visualisation:
“as if being inside the brain”.
Time: about
1 minute.
-
imagine as if through ”consciousness” descending for a few seconds,
starting from the brain, then through the mouth and the throat
onto:
·
heart - experience, feel
the Energy constituting in the heart, then try to see the heart,
remain there for about 30 seconds; then direct attention onto
·
lungs - experience, feel
the Energy constituting in the lungs, then try to see the lungs,
remain there for about 30 seconds; then direct attention onto
·
liver - experience, feel
the Energy constituting in the liver, then try to see the liver,
remain there for about 30 seconds; then direct attention onto
·
spleen
- experience, feel the Energy constituting in the spleen, then
try to see the spleen, remain there for about 30 seconds; then
direct attention onto
·
kidneys - experience, feel the Energy
constituting in the kidneys, then try to see the kidneys, remain
there for about 30 seconds;
-
gently open your eyes.
B) Mental seeing of one’s
own organs - the second method
-
assume a posture appropriate for meditation, close the eyes and
relax for a few seconds,
- send a prayer: “I pray to God to mature my upper tan
t’ien.”
Visualisation:
brain.
Time: about 1 minute.
-
push gently with the tongue upward and back so that the bottom
front part of it touches the roof of the mouth, without any effort
though, while keeping the mouth closed,
-
imagine for a few seconds as if directing the Energy from the mouth through the throat onto:
·
heart - experience, feel the Energy constituting
in the heart, then try to see the heart, remain there for about
30 seconds; then direct attention onto
·
lungs - experience, feel
the Energy constituting in the lungs, then try to see the lungs,
remain there for about 30 seconds; then direct attention onto
·
liver - experience, feel
the Energy constituting in the liver, then try to see the liver,
remain there for about 30 seconds; then direct attention onto
·
spleen
- experience, feel the Energy constituting in the spleen, then
try to see the spleen, remain there for about 30 seconds; then
direct attention onto
·
kidneys - experience, feel the Energy
constituting in the kidneys, then try to see the kidneys, remain
there for about 30 seconds; then direct attention onto
·
bladder - experience, feel the Energy
constituting in the bladder, then try to see the bladder, remain
there for about 30 seconds; then direct attention onto
·
abdominopelvic cavity (between the diaphragm
and the pelvic floor) - experience, feel the Energy constituting
in the abdominopelvic cavity from bellow upwards, until the stomach
and try to see the intestines (the large and small intestines),
remain there for about 60 seconds; then direct attention onto
·
stomach - experience, feel the Energy
constituting in the stomach, then try to see the stomach, remain
there for about 30 seconds; then direct the Energy from the stomach
through the oesophagus onto
·
mouth -
experience, feel the Energy constituting in the mouth, then try
to see the oral cavity (tongue, teeth, gums...), remain there
for about 30 seconds;
-
straighten and relax the tongue and direct the attention to
·
brain - experience, feel the Energy constituting
in the brain, then try to see the brain, remain there for about
30 seconds;
-
slowly open your eyes.

or:
“I pray to God to mature my upper tan t’ien.”
Visualisation:
brain.
Time: about 1 minute.
- experience as if being inside the brain, and from
there looking through the third eye outside,
- after several seconds there will spontaneously
appear an “opening” in the region of the third eye, through which
white light will be visible (or a white spiral), and which we
shall direct towards the

·
spleen - and try to see the liver, remain
there for about 30 seconds; then direct attention to
·
kidneys
- and try to see the kidneys, remain there for about 30 seconds;
- slowly open your eyes.
D) Mental seeing of one’s
own energetic processes
-
assume a posture appropriate
for meditation, close the eyes and relax for a few seconds,
-
send a prayer: “I pray to God to mature my mental vision.”
Visualisation: “as if being inside the
brain”.
Time: about 1 minute.
or:
“I pray to God to mature my upper tan t’ien.”
Visualisation:
brain.
Time: about 1 minute.
- imagine to be seeing your Light body and direct
your attention to the space above the head; remain there for about
1 minute,
- imagine to be seeing your Soul and direct your
attention to the middle region of the body; remain there for about
1 minute,
- imagine to be seeing your aura and direct your
attention to the space around physical body; remain there for
about 1 minute,
- slowly open your eyes.
E) Mental seeing of energetic
processes in other people
-
assume a posture appropriate
for meditation, close the eyes and relax for a few seconds,
-
send a prayer: “I pray to God to mature my mental vision.”
Visualisation: “as if being inside the
brain”.
Time: about 1 minute.
or:
“I pray to God to mature my upper tan t’ien.”
Visualisation:
brain.
Time: about 1 minute.
- experience as if being inside the brain, and from
there looking through the third eye outside;
- after several seconds there will spontaneously
appear an “opening” in the region of the third eye, through which
white light will be visible (or a white spiral), and which we
shall direct towards the
- the Light body of another person directing your
attention above their head; remain there for about 1 minute, then
towards
- their Soul directing your attention towards the
middle region of their physical body; remain there for about 1
minute, and then finally towards
- their aura directing your attention towards the
space around their physical body; remain there for about 1 minute;
- slowly open your eyes.
5.3. Mental vision over
distance
After
several weeks of mentally seeing the larger inner organs, the
Soul, the aura and the Light body in oneself and in others, it
is possible to attempt the mental vision over distance:
-
assume a posture appropriate
for meditation, close the eyes and relax for a few seconds,
-
send a prayer: “I pray to God to mature my mental vision.”
Visualisation: “as if being inside the
brain”.
Time: about 1 minute.
or:
“I pray to God to mature my upper tan t’ien.”
Visualisation:
brain.
Time: about 1 minute.
- slowly open your eyes and identify the person
you wish to observe by having their photo and personal details
in front of us; remain so for about 1 minute;
- close your eyes (once you are firmly established
in this method, the eyes can remain open) and think-wish to see
the organs of that person: heart, lungs, liver, spleen, kidneys,
brain, and then the energetic structures of the Soul, the aura
and the Light body; observe each organ for about 30 seconds, and
each energetic structure for about 1 minute;
- slowly open your eyes.
Note:
the whole procedure can be repeated several times as presented
above, or by closing and opening the eyes during and after viewing
each one of the organs, that is of energetic structures in turn.
5.4. Developing mental vision
Over
the first several months of practising mental vision the following
processes most often take place:
-
seeing of the organs is unclear, often it is only a momentary
flash, or it is in the form of a contour of an organ, or still,
the physical body is seen as a structure of light, and the observed
organ as a dark structure, and so on...
-
the aura is seen as an unclear radiance around the physical body,
-
the Soul is seen as a radiance inside the physical body, or as
a repetitive flash in front of it...,
-
the Light body is seen as unclear or as a multi-rayed radiance
above the head.
In this period with almost all practitioners
arises the question - is what they see a merely a product of a
memory of earlier seen pictures from anatomy books and a pure
projection of the mind, or is it the case of a “real” seeing?
In the case of energetic structures the same dilemma arises -
are these just memories of descriptions and sketches found in
books and the projections of the mind, or is it a “real” vision?
Most often in the beginning stages these are the processes which
combine the mind’s projections based on memory and the real seeing,
which is caused by a low degree of harmony between the thinking
and the working mind. It needs to be stressed that even one’s
very arrival at the possibility of existence of such dilemmas
is a step forward, because it represents a sort of encouragement
for those processes.
After
several months of work on oneself and attempts to see the organs
and energetic structures, the process of development of mental
vision will grow spontaneously. A practitioner will be able to
establish independently how detailed and for how long should the
seeing of organs and energetic structures be done. In this period
the seeing is significantly more precise and one is able to
notice the deformities of certain organs, which can be
verified and monitored through medical analysis.
When
our mental vision reaches an appropriate level of precision it
is no longer necessary to practise it. What remains is its application
through observations, control of health and healing of the organs
and/or the energetic structures...
CONCLUSION
Mental
vision is an ability of Consciousness to engage the mind in such
a way (primarily the thinking and working mind), as to obtain
information about a certain organ or processes in the physical
body, or in the energetic structures, and through the medium of
image-knowledge. Such information can refer to the moment when
the seeing is taking place, or to a certain period.
Mental
vision is not a measure nor a condition for spiritual development,
although it can prove to be very useful as an instrument, primarily
in healing but also in monitoring of energetic processes.
